The production of the teaser for the TV series Pós-modernidade, recorded in Rio in November, received support from Filme Rio - Rio Film Commission. The institution served as an intermediary to get filming permits in Lapa, Ipanema beach, and in Aterro do Flamengo's skateboard track. "It was the first time that we contacted Film Commission for this type of support and I was really pleased with the outcome. They were very attentive and efficient in acquiring these permits and facilitating our work", said Patricia Mahet, executive producer at Multimix Artistic Productions, responsible for the program implementation.
Written and directed by Guilherme Labonia, the series focuses on the customs of the postmodern youth. From the daily lives of eight teenagers, with unlimited freedom, the plot discusses topics such as family conflicts, the pains and joys of loving relationships, sex, drugs and pregnancy. "We want to make something like a postmodern Malhação", defines Patricia Mahet. The program is still in negotiations to be exhibited.
"This year was great for Rio de Janeiro as a location for national and international audiovisual productions. The idea is that the state becomes increasingly distinguished as a destination that offers diverse and surprising possibilities for filming cinema and television productions", celebrates the President at FRRFC, Steve Solot.
